Prince George's Corps

Each year, people from across the community stream through the doors of The Salvation Army Prince George’s County Corps in need of help. Committed to the task of Doing the Most Good, officers, staff, and volunteers work to catch people as they fall and help them back on their feet again.

Case Managers work with parents to wrap services around their needs, from assistance with rent and utility bills to donations of grocery vouchers that put food on the table. Helping the young to grow holds a special place in the Corps’ heart. Music lessons taught by skilled instructors, character-building programs, and Bible study is available each week.

Supporting veterans is a top priority at the Prince George’s County Corps. Thanks to a bequest from a generous supporter there are extra funds available to meet the emergency needs of local veterans that live throughout the county.
