Solomon G. Brown Corps Community Center

Nearly a decade ago, the Southeast D.C. community gave birth to a vision of hope: the Solomon G. Brown Corps Community Center. Home to multiple community partners, inside the five-story building the most critical needs of the Southeast DC community are being met.

Community Programs

  • Social Services Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, see District Emergency Assistance
  • Youth Character Building on Tuesdays at 6pm
  • Youth Music on Tuesdays at 7pm
  • Homework Help on Wednesdays at 7pm (during the school year)
  • Brass Band on Thursdays at 6pm
  • Movie Nights, Shopping Trips, and Events monthly (please call)

Spiritual Care and Worship

  • Sunday School on Sundays at 10am
  • Worship Service on Sundays at 11am
  • Corps Cadets on Sundays at 12:30pm
  • Bible Study and Junior Soldiers on Wednesdays at 6pm
  • Adult Ministries on Wednesdays at 7pm
  • Young Adult/Teen Bible Study on Fridays at 6:30pm
