Thanks to generous donations The Salvation Army serves more than 66,000 people living in the nation’s capital region every year. The individuals and families we serve come from variety of backgrounds. Anyone who comes through our doors for assistance are served according to their need and our capacity to help – regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
