Harbor Light Center

Two decades ago, The Salvation Army opened the Harbor Light residential treatment center. Since then, thousands of adults, from all walks of life, have overcome drug and alcohol addiction thanks to our program. Working collaboratively with metro-area partners, staff deliver a comprehensive range of care. The 136-bed facility includes individual and group counseling, skills for managing grief and anger, and training for independent living and meaningful employment. With the six-month program having over an 85% completion rate, Harbor Light is a preferred treatment provider in the D.C. area.
