The Salvation Army helps children and adults from our community every day without discrimination. We offer emergency social services support, and homeless outreach services at two locations in the District of Columbia. This includes
- Providing a safe space and compassionate support;
- Addressing a family or individual’s immediate needs;
- Respecting the dignity of everyone we serve;
- Caring for the whole person; and,
- Offering long-term solutions to break the cycle of chronic crises.
Services Provided
- Eviction Prevention (rental or mortgage assistance)
- Utility Shut-off Prevention (electric, gas and heating)
- Food and Nutrition Assistance (pantry/non perishable food)
