Arlington Corps

Arlington Corps

Arlington Corps

In Arlington County, Virginia, where over 80% of residents seeking help are from the Hispanic community, breaking the cycle of poverty begins with speaking the same language.

The fluent Spanish speakers in the Arlington Corps offer support to struggling families from more than six Spanish-speaking countries. Services range from eviction prevention and utility assistance to grocery vouchers and back-to-school supplies. The success of this fellowship is reflected in the numbers that turn out for summer carnivals and holiday dinners. For these families, this really is home away from home.

For the younger population, there's a youth program that meets every Friday night that encourages kids to take a lifelong journey with God, through service projects, bible-based studies, arts and crafts, sports and more.
