Volunteer

  • Volunteer

More than 3,400,000 individuals of all ages volunteer their time, talents, and resources to assist The Salvation Army’s work each year in the United States. Our volunteers are critical partners in helping us fulfill our promise to America of “Doing the Most Good.”

Volunteers are valuable assets in The Salvation Army’s efforts to meet the changing needs of our world. Through the skills and experience they bring to The Army, volunteers make significant contributions to society by positively impacting the lives of those they assist. Salvation Army volunteers change lives, uplift families and support communities throughout the National Capital Area everyday.
